Capoeira Is Now an Official Course!

The Hacettepe University Capoeira Club and the Ankara Capoeira Association, who have always led the way in developing capoeira in Turkey, achieved another first: capoeira is now an official course. For now it is offered as an elective only to Recreation students at Hacettepe University’s School of Sport Sciences and Technology, but the aim is to offer it as an elective in other departments and even at other universities in the future.
